Meet the Park Rangers Team in the Ranger Service!
The Ranger Service was established in 1997 with the aims:
- to manage the country parks and nature reserves of the Dagenham Corridor and enhance the experience of those who visit them
- to provide environmental outdoor education to schools, colleges and community groups
- to provide a varied events programme throughout the year
- to look for opportunities to enhance the natural environment of the borough.
Our small but dedicated team care passionately about the country parks and nature reserves of the borough and encourage residents to join them in their appreciation and upkeep of our beautiful green, open spaces.
Today our Ranger Service comprises four full time and one part time member of staff, supported by a number of dedicated volunteers.
